The Rose gardens at Point Defiance call my name nearly as much as the beach, I’ve been Taking photos each year of sweet couples and families here and never my own! All these photos are missing is my handsome husband, Seth.
We went to the Rose gardens recently during the week for a 3 month photo session and my friend graciously offered to snap a few of us too! Being a photographer, one would think I would have tons of photos with my kids and it’s the opposite really! I’m always taking the photo and forgetting to also be in them. So, I gave her a quick “point the dot at my face” camera tutorial and I love what we got! The photo just of me, that would be credited to my jr. photographer in training and son, Lucas. Thanks for the new headshot buddy!
We’re very lucky that these two get along as well as they do! best buds and partners in crime. Nat paves the way and Luke makes sure their safe while they go.My funny, caring and athletic Lucas. He is all things video games, soccer and chill. On any given day you’ll find him riding his bike or playing soccer with a number of friends grouped around him. He’s going into the 5th grade and I just don’t know how that happened! Where in the world has time gone! He hopes to become a Sounders soccer player and is addicted to Rocket League. My sweet and hilarious Natalie, she is going into the 2nd grade and has aspirations to be an Inventor/ Scientist and big plans for a mansion with 100 rooms for 100 dogs which we’ll need special bionic powers she’ll give us to enter. She will trade a doll for Marvel Avengers toy in a heartbeat and has to pet every dog that passes by.and here I am, Lucas snapped this photo, I love that my passion is passing down to them. They see me going to sessions and weddings and making memories for countless families and are slowly being bitten by the photography bug. I love showing them they can be their own boss and choose their own path.
