Meet the lovely Taylor and her super sweet fiance Josh, just a few more days and their 30 day countdown to ‘I do’ begins! We started our session in one of my favorite places, and probably a Tacoma engagement session staple, the flower gardens at Point Defiance park. What a fantastic backdrop, if only those flowers stayed around longer! You’ll have to scroll through to see Owen beach and some great shots cooling their toes as the waves came in. Can’t go wrong in this beautiful setting!
There’s something wonderful about engagement sessions, yeah the sweet lovey photos of an engaged couple are great BUT there’s a bigger benefit. Getting comfortable in front of the camera so your wedding photos can have that sweet magic you’ve been drooling over in every wedding photo you’ve pinned. Being in front of any camera is a bit nerve wracking, what do I do…where do I look? Hands! What do I do with my hands?! This is exactly why I stress how important an engagement session is, we get to chat, hang out and get comfortable. Engagement photos and well, photos in general should be relaxed, have an air of content and emotion…not the nervous kind.
Sweet Taylor was so nervous! I ensured her by the end of the session she would be enjoying herself and even joked that they would say…wait?! It’s over?! We had a lot of fun walking through Pt. Defiance and capturing all the love along the way. Take a look and even leave a comment if you feel so inclined! Can’t wait until your wedding day Taylor and Josh, won’t they be a stunning bride and groom?
